What happens during the test:
When you apply saliva to the Ovulation Egg lens, it is absorbed by a special material. This material contains antibodies that bind to the estrogen hormone in your saliva. Estrogen levels in saliva increase in the days leading up to ovulation. The binding of estrogen to antibodies causes a change in the chemical composition of the saliva. This change is detected by an optical sensor in the Ovulation Egg.
Interpreting the results:
- Low: Estrogen levels in your saliva are low. This means that you are not in the most fertile period for conception.
- High: Estrogen levels in your saliva are elevated. This means that you are approaching ovulation.
- Peak: Estrogen levels in your saliva are highest. This means that you are in your most fertile days for conception.
It is important to remember that the Ovulation Egg is a tool for predicting ovulation. It does not guarantee conception. Other factors, such as age, health, and lifestyle, can also affect your fertility.
